The driver was then identified as Crawford, and he was ticked for reckless driving. A passenger, a member of the Crawford security team, was also proven to carry a weapon to legal fire. The police have confirmed that all the occupants of the vehicle are legally authorized to carry firearms. A police supervisor and lieutenant responded to the scene at the request of Crawford.

Crawford is a hero in Omaha and still lives in his hometown, where he raised his children and directs a non -profit boxing academy to help children at risk.
Ewing said in an article on Facebook that he spoke in Crawford after learning the traffic stop.
“I recognize the severity of what happened and how confidence between the application of laws and our community is important and shows the need to be continuously vigilant about the establishment of relations,” said Ewing. “Omaha’s police chief Todd Schmaderer has promised an internal investigation, which I support and want to be full and meticulous. Crawford has become the unified average weight champion with his unanimous victory over Álvarez in Las Vegas. He became the first male boxer to capture three unified division titles. Crawford has a 42-0 sheet with 31 Knockouts.
