Police arrested the resident of the Palestinian West Bank for alleged ties with the Iranian agent
The 24 -year -old suspect was apprehended on August 6 during a joint operation by Israeli police officers of the Etzion police station in the West Bank and FDI.
A Palestinian woman from the western city of Beit Umar was arrested in early August, suspected of links with an Iranian agent, reported N12 on Monday.
The 24 -year -old suspect was apprehended on August 6 during a joint operation by Israeli police officers of the Etzion police station in the West Bank and FDI.
After her arrest, the suspect was questioned for interrogation.
Since then, an investigation has been conducted in cooperation with The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and other intelligence agencies.
Suspect made assignments
According to allegations, she not only maintained contact with an Iranian agent, but also made various assignments in his name, reported N12.

During the interrogation, she admitted some of the accusations and provided details on her relations with the Iranian agent and the tasks she had accomplished, according to N12. While the interrogation continued, she fully confessed all the accusations.
At the same time, the military prosecutor’s office requested additional surveys, including technological tests and additional information collection operations, in order to strengthen evidence against it.
Consequently, the military court extended its detention by eight more days to allow the investigation to continue, added N12.
