Three things to watch

  1. Home Runs. The dishes hit nine circuits in this series, including seven Saturday evening. It was enough to bring the seventh dishes back into the majors to sixth, where they have been during the last two seasons. They also face a launcher this evening which has struggled in three of its last four departures.
  2. Mets Home Run Unadboard. Pete Alonso attracted on Friday evening, bringing him to 244 for his career, just eight behind the Darryl Strawberry franchise leading 252. Brandon Nimmo dominated twice on Saturday evening and Lindor spoke once, bringing the two to 125 career races. With Comforto at the 132 Mets Home Coureds in eighth, the top ten of the Mets will be different at the end of this season.
  3. Juan Soto. Sometimes Juan Soto does Juan Soto. Saturday evening, Soto went 4-in-5 to marble with two circuits. Friday evening, he went 0 for 2 with two goals on balls. This means that it has already been on the basis six times this series.
