Noah Wyle and Katherine Lanasa celebrated their nominations to the Emmy Emmy of “The Pitt” in a behind the scenes video published on Tuesday – and said it said the return of the latter for season 2 in the process.
Wyle was nominated for the exceptional main actor in a dramatic series, and Lanasa gave the head in the exceptional support actress in a dramatic series category. In the video, shared on Instagram by a crew member and view below via X, the two hugs while absorbing the applause of their colleagues in the Emergency Room of the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. Apparently, taking a break in the shooting of season 2, the excitement is palpable of everyone on the set. The Max series was also nominated for the best dramatic series.
“I am delighted that the appointments are distributed in all the different departments because it reflects our collective effort,” said Wyle separately about her appointment. “A sincere congratulations to all my nominated colleagues. I am humiliated and grateful.”
“Receiving this level of recognition at this stage of my career is a delicious surprise,” said Lanasa in her declaration after the appointment. “I am so proud of” The Pitt “and particularly grateful to Noah, John and Scott for condemned Dana to me. Lanasa being on the set and in costume should suppress any concern that fans of the first season had about the return of Lanasa. His character Dana Evans seemed ready to leave the hospital after the heartbreaking events of season 1 – including a mass shooting that filled the hospital with critical patients. “The Pitt” takes place on a single quarter of work in PTMC. It was announced after season 1 that the second season of the show would take place on July 4.
