Pinocchio: UNSPRUNG – First, look at a nightmare on the Jiminy jiminy cricket of ELM Street Robert Englund
The original story of Pinocchio is much darker than you think if you only saw the classic Disney animated film, but the next episode of the world of Twisted Childhood, alias the “Poohninverse”, seems ready to bring things to a whole new level.
A first official look at Pinocchio: Unsem Was revealed earlier this year via promotional fixed images and a backstage video presenting an impressive practical puppet of Pinocchio, and these last images reveal a terribly twisted vision of the Jiminy Cricket, which will be expressed by A nightmare on Elm Street Robert Englund legend.
If this monstrous cricket seems familiar, it is because it looks more like than a temporary resemblance to Freddy Krueger!
Led by Winnie-the-Cooh: Blood and honey The director Rhys Frake-Waterfield and produced by Scott Jeffrey under their banner Jagged Edge Productions, Pinocchio: Unsem Follows “Young James as he learns the deadly secret of his grandfather Geppetto: Pinocchio.”
Richard Brake (Barbarian, Mandy) should also play in the key role of Geppetto.
The world of twisted childhood also includes both Blood and honey Films and Bambi: the calculationwhich build all towards Poohniniverse’s monsters come togetherwhich is described as “an Avengers style crossing bringing together various other characters from beloved beloved children (very) bad”.

“Not only is the scenario dark, twisted and bloody, but also sometimes very funny. Todd Masters and his team created incredible practical effects. The public is in a crazy walk”, ” Brake said in a statement.
“I have always loved the original story and denied from the 1880s. So I was delighted to join this production, to give life to this little puppet – with all the practical FX,” Masters added. “This version is still a small puppet of a puppet to become a boy … But the way it becomes one, is extremely bad … and frankly, very fun.”

The film is distributed by Itn Studios and Sales Agent Premiere Entertainment, and is bought from AFM. No official release date has been announced, but it should hit the rooms for a limited race at a given time next year.
