The Philadelphia Phillies signed the right -hander veteran Walker Buehler in a minor league contract, the team announced on Sunday.
Phillies said Buehler had been assigned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Buehler, who released the final of the Los Angeles Dodgers victory last season, and should be a key member of Boston’s rotation this year, was released on Friday after the Red Sox concluded that he could not prevent their enclosure of the LEVEUR INCLOS.
