Los Angeles – The Philadelphia Phillies have been around for over 140 years, during which they reached eight World Series and presented some of the most indelible lists in the history of baseball.
By at least one measure, however, they have never been as dominant as they are right now.
On Monday, after planning the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers in a tense back and forth competition, the Phillies won a title of the National League East earlier than ever-on September 15, with almost two full weeks of regular season baseball.
It was a product of the rushed slide from the New York dishes, but also of the overvoltage of the phillies. They won 11 of the 14 games this month and have had the best sport record since the beginning of August.
In other words, they could peak at the ideal moment.
“We are a very good team,” said Phillie’s first goal player Bryce Harper after the 6-5 10-round victory. “I think we are playing baseball very well at the moment. We must continue to continue, and continue to understand that we have a bigger image and we have things in our mind that we want to win.”
The last victory of the Phillies, which obtained its third consecutive season with more than 90 victories, came appropriately.

Trea Turner and Alec Bohm, making up the left side of their inner field, both landed on IL last Monday, and the Phillies won six consecutive games, including a four -game scan. The Jose Alvarado out-of-competition lift, already unacceptable to the playoffs after tesing positive for a drug improving performance, underwent a forearm strain last week, but the enclosure of the listers nevertheless found a means.

The phillies have made the playoffs each of the last three years, but have failed in their quest to win the first title of the franchise since 2008. In 2022, they were defeated by the Astros of Houston in the World Series. In 2023, they fell into a team from Arizona Diamondbacks heated to the NL series. In 2024, the dishes sent them to four games in the series.
In some respects, this year feels more crucial than all. Realmuto, Schwarber and Suarez are planned for the free agency during the offseason. The global nucleus is aging. Next month, the external assessors believe, could represent the best chance for this group to consolidate its greatness with a championship.
This trip began on Sunday afternoon, when he was stuck on a plane that was faced with mechanical problems while trying to leave Philadelphia. The players then discovered that, under the defeat of the Giants of San Francisco against the Dodgers, they had won a place in the playoffs. They refrained from celebrating, landed in Los Angeles around 2 a.m. and hoped to revel in greater accomplishment.
About 20 hours later, it happened. The Phillie Travel Day has slipped into commemorative t-shirts and ventured into the small clubhouse of Dodger Stadium for the type of celebration infused with alcohol and cigar which has become too familiar for so many them. Rob Thomson, during his fourth year as a manager, gathered his players, held a bottle of champagne not welcomed in his left hand and praised the way they overcome adversity. He then turned to Realmuto and asked: “How much we have left, my friend?”
“Anyway,” said Realmuto in response, cutting the festivities.
The phillies hope that it is much more.
“Each team we have had in the past two years, we have been really good,” said Harper. “It just didn’t happen. We just didn’t finish with a victory, and we have to do it.
