EXCLUSIVE: Innovative Artists Entertainment has hired actor Peter MacNicol for a theatrical and literary performance.
He won an Emmy and a SAG Ensemble Award for his role in the early 2000s on Fox’s Ally McBealMacNicol earned another Emmy nomination for his work as foul-mouthed New Hampshire political power player Jeff Kane in the HBO series. Veep in 2019.
Recently, MacNicol was seen in the Max Minghella film Shell opposite Elisabeth Moss, also recurring on CBS Everyone gets upand star in an independent film Home delivery opposite Lesley Ann Warren, Lindsay Sloane, Donald Faison and Joey Pantoliano. Upcoming, he’s set to appear in Ryan Murphy’s legal drama Everything is fair with Kim Kardashian, which premieres on Hulu on November 4.
On television, MacNicol’s other credits include The Big Bang Theory, Chicago Hope, Grey’s Anatomy, The Mindy Project, A series of unfortunate eventsand a starring role in Jay Roach’s film Game changer for HBO. His feature film credits include Sophie’s choice, Ghostbusters IIAnd Bean.
Beginning his career at the Guthrie Theater and on the Broadway stage, MacNicol made his Broadway debut as part of the original cast of Crimes of the heart in 1981.
