Perez Hilton reacts after Jennifer Lopez opened on the divorce of Ben Affleck while turning Kiss of the Spider Woman
Jennifer Lopez recently talked about the turmoil to work on the sets of Kiss the spider woman While going through his divorce from Ben Affleck. The former couple, who made the knot in 2022, finalized his split on January 6, 2025.
Kiss the spider woman is a musical drama to come with Lopez, Diego Luna and Tonatiuh. This is the second cinematographic adaptation of the eponymous novel of 1976 by Manuel Puig and is produced by Bill Condon. Jennifer Lopez shared her work experience in the sets during a recent appearance on CBS Sunday morning (broadcast on September 28).
During the interview, the 56 -year -old man spoke frankly about playing the protagonist Ingrid Luna while treating his divorce then in progress.
“It was difficult. It was a difficult time. It was a really difficult time,” she said.
She continued:
“It was difficult not to think of things – it was the best and the worst time in a way. Every moment on the set, every moment I made this role, I was so happy, then back home, it was not great. It was just: “Oh, how can I reconcile this?” But you cross it.
Despite the “difficult times”, Lopez was apparently optimistic about the future. The holder of the world record of Guinness six times spoke of wanting to “steal higher” and to do things that she could not in the past.
“The difficult times are the lessons and you have to understand this. And once you do it, everything becomes a little lighter, and you can really, really fly. I have the impression that if it had not happened, I would not understand that.”
She continued:
“I always have the impression of wanting to fly higher, I want to see more, I want to do more things. But I will savor them in a way that maybe in the twenty and the thirties that I do not have,” she explained.
Perez Hilton complimented the actress for her optimism in her blog, Writing:
“We love it for that!”
Lopez also talked about Ben Affleck’s contribution to the film as a producer, revealing that he had “helped” Lopez to guarantee the role of Ingrid Luna. Perez Hilton concluded by spiling lyrical about Jennifer Lopez for her alleged recognition despite a “public and difficult divorce”.
“After a public and difficult divorce, we would not be angry with him to be bored as the guy who put him through so many troubles is largely responsible for helping him make a culmination of career. But J.LO is clearly a very grateful person! She has our respect!” He was delighted.
Kiss the spider woman should be released in the United States on October 10, 2025.
When Perez Hilton reacted to Jennifer Lopez’s new song after Ben Affleck Split
On July 8, Jennifer Lopez made her debut, her song, WreckageDuring the first night of her Overnight Tour in Spain Pontevedra.

In addition, the singer apparently thought about how her troubles made her stronger, wiser and better than she had ever been.
“I will not leave you anymore, longer, never say goodbye / It was perfect for me that you made me believe / really should only make me bigger for me, and it made me stronger, stronger, in the test of bullets / now looks at me get out of the wreck,” she sang in front of the crowd of Pontevedra.
Perez Hilton put an end to his post by advancing that Jennifer Lopez “really poured his heart” in the song.
According to People Magazine, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez began to go out together in 2002. Although they got engaged, they interrupted it in 2004 and began to continue other people.
In 2021, the pair rekindled their romance and made the knot during an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas in July 2022. However, Jennifer Lopez asked for divorce two years later, citing irrefumed differences.
