PEP Lijnders in Man City: The former Liverpool assistant joins the staff of Pep Guardiola coaches | Football news

Former Liverpool assistant coach Pep Lijnders joined Manchester City coaches, becoming the new assistant from Pep Guardiola.

City simultaneously announced the appointment of James French, who also worked at Liverpool, as a set of set.

Ljinders joins Guardiola coaches staff, who were part of the background team of Jurgen Klopp and Brendan Rodgers in Anfield through two distinct spells.

The 42 -year -old man initially joined Liverpool in 2014 under Rodgers, before becoming the Klopp assistant in 2015 while German began nine years transformers in charge of the current Premier League champions.
