Undulations settlement agreement filed by dry

In a new letter In Analisa Torres, judge of the United States District Court for the South New York District (SDNY), the American Securities and Exchange (SEC) commission confirmed that it had reached a settlement agreement with the company Blockchain Company Ripple.

The letter confirms that Ripple’s penalty has been reduced to only $ 50 million, compared to $ 125 million. The remaining sum would have returned to the company. The injunction which was imposed by Judge Torres within the framework of the final judgment last August must also be lifted.

The district should point out whether it would be willing to dissolve the injunction and modify the penalty if the jurisdiction should be moved from the Court of Appeal.

The parties also agreed not to request the modification of the judgment of judgment of the Torres judge dating from July 2023. The order stipulates that the sales of programmatic XRP were not titles. However, Judge Torres ruled that Ripple had violated the laws on securities with his institutional XRP sales.

XRP increased by 7.2% in the past 24 hours, according to Coingecko data.
