Cannucks F Nils Hoglander has undergone surgery, from 8 to 10 weeks old

Vancouver cannucks expect to be without Hoglander Nils for eight to 10 weeks after the attacker’s striker for a lower body injury on Monday.

Hoglander, 24, was injured during the second period of a pre-season match against the Calgary flames on Wednesday.

He raised 25 points (eight goals, 17 assists) in 72 games last season, his fifth in the NHL since the Canucks selected him in the second round of the 2019 draft.

During 293 career games, Hoglander totaled 115 points (58 goals, 57 assists) and 127 minutes of penalty. His best season occurred in 2023-24, when he collected 24 goals – all in force – and 12 assists while playing 80 games.
