Paul Simon cancels the shows due to “ chronic and intense back pain ”

Bad news for fans of Paul Simon.
In an article shared on Simon’s Instagram account on Saturday, it was announced that Simon had canceled his performance on Saturday and Sunday at the Philadelphia Academy of Music due to a continuous problem with his back.
“Reret, Paul Simon has to cancel two programs this evening on June 28 and tomorrow evening on June 19 – at the Philadelphia Music Academy,” read the post. “Paul fought with chronic and intense back pain. Today, it has become unmanageable and requires immediate attention. ”
The message continued: “Unfortunately, we must cancel these emissions for the moment, because we do not have the possibility of reprogramming them. However, we hope after this minor surgical procedure which has been scheduled in the coming days, Paul will be able to finish the visit and seek to return to compensate for these dates.”
The position continued by saying that complete reimbursements will be provided to those who bought tickets in advance for the show.
Simon, who is currently on his “quiet celebration tour”, occurred in the Philadelphia room only two days ago on Thursday. It was the first of the three shows to take place in the city. After the passage on the east coast, the tour heads for the terrace Theater of the Long Beach Performing Arts Center on July 7.
Above all, given the surgery, it is not clear how Simon’s health will affect the rest of the tour. After stopping in Long Beach, California, Simon should have a five -night stay at the Disney Hall in Los Angeles.
