Patrick Walden Dead: the guitarist of Babyshamble was 46 years old

Patrick Walden, the guitarist of the British group Babyshamble, died at the age of 46.
Babyshamble, against Pete Doherty, announced the death of Walden on social networks in a joint declaration. “It is with a deep regret and sadness that we share the news of the death of Patrick Walden,” reads the post. “We feel very lucky to have known / worked and worked with him and we kindly ask for respect and intimacy during these difficult times.” No cause of death has been given.
Walden, originally from London, had a short -term passage with Babyshambles, which Doherty formed in 2004 after being expelled from libertines for drug abuse. He joined the group as a main guitarist alongside Doherty in singing, attracted McConnell to bass and Gemma Clarke on drums, and co-written six songs on the beginnings in 2005 of the group “Down in Albion”, including “Fuck Forever”, “Pipedown” and “Loyty Song”.
“Down in Albion” was a moderate success in the United Kingdom, culminating in n ° 10 on the charts. “Fuck Forever” has become the largest single in the group, reaching n ° 4 in the British singles table.
Walden, who had previously played in groups such as Fluid and White Sport, left the group in 2005 after dealing with drug abuse and accusations of assault by his girlfriend, which led to a brief incarceration. The charges were inevitably lowered.
Over the years, he would intervene for performances with Babyshamble, although he has never officially joined the group. He was not present for a babyshamble meeting that took place last year, and it was not clear if he would join the group for future performance.
