Park City summer hotel reservations see the upward trend

The Bureau of the Chamber of Commerce and Visitors of Park City keeps a trace of hotel reservations via a data platform which measures the performance of around two dozen properties in the Park City region representing around 2,500 rooms.
Park City Chamber’s president and chief executive officer Jennifer Wesselhoff said that she was optimistic about visits during the summer season on the basis of the figures so far.
“Pending the next six months, right now, we are ahead of the pace of books on books of almost 11%,” said Wesselhoff.
She said the hotel prices should increase by around 2% over the next six months.
Restant to the previous six months, including the advanced ski season, Wesselhoff said that the average occupation and the daily prices increased by about 2 to 3% from one year to the next.
“In general, these properties based on the higher-end ski-out ski-out complex work a little better than average property,” she said.
The most recent tax data, which reflects February purchases, show a drop in local sales and accommodation revenue, while restaurant tax levels remain stable.
Despite some hollows, Wesselhoff remains optimistic.
“Although we saw a certain fluctuation from month to month compared to the previous year, overall, we see incredible growth,” she said.
Preliminary data From the National Ski Area Association (NSAA) indicates that the winter season of 2024-25 saw the second highest visit ever recorded in the American ski areas.
A recent Bank of America report Said that more American households plan to travel on the road this summer instead of venturing abroad, because consumers’ feeling falls in the midst of uncertain economic conditions.
