Brentford names Keith Andrews as successor to Thomas Frank

Brentford appointed Keith Andrews as a new club coach on a three-year contract after Thomas Frank’s departure from Tottenham.

Andrews, 44, joined the bees last summer to work under Frank as a club coach.

Having already been one of the coach staff with Sheffield United, MK Dons and the Republic of Ireland, the appointment of Andrews is the Irish first stage in the direction.

Brentford examined a number of external candidates for the position, including Kieran McKenna and Francesco Farioli from Ipswich Town, who left Ajax last month.
