Pacers flights turned away from Oklahoma City after Tornado Warning

The Indiana Pacers waited 25 years to return to the NBA final, but they will have to wait a little longer because the arrival of the team at Oklahoma City was delayed by the weather.
While the charter flight of the Pacers was in the air on Tuesday, the forecasters issued a tornado warning, flood surveillance and a severe thunderstorm on Oklahoma City and its surroundings.
At least one tornado was spotted in Norman, Oklahoma, about 20 miles south of Oklahoma City, but it is not immediately known if the tornado had approached or caused damage.
The flight of Indiana was diverted to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the plane was supplied. The team expected to arrive in Oklahoma City later Tuesday evening.
The Pacers, making the second appearance of the franchise in the final and first since 2000, and the Oklahoma City Thunder is expected to appear at the NBA Finals Media Day on Wednesday at the Paycc Center, which will be the scene of match 1 on Thursday.
