Anime’s Favorite Super Spy Family Is Having Big Streaming Success

It’s been over a month since Spy x Family Season 3 premiered and the series became a streaming hit on Crunchyroll. With six of its 13 episodes now released, the new season continues to advance Operation Strix while deepening the story of one of its main characters.

On November 10, 2025, Spy x Family occupies 8th place in Crunchyroll Top 10 in the United States, sitting between Solo Upgrade And Cooking on a campfire in another world with my absurd talent. This latest season adapted “Loid’s Past” and “Friendship Schemes”. This weekend, it will enter the “bus hijack arc,” where the terrorist group Red Circus hijacks Anya’s school bus during a field trip, and it’s up to her to save the day.

Spy x Family is an animated series based on Tatsuya Endothe ongoing manga series of the same name. It follows Agent Twilight, a spy whose latest mission is to get closer to former Prime Minister Donovan Desmond by forming a fake family and enrolling a child at Eden Academy. The final season introduced new characters, who will play a role in the progression of Operation: Strix, as well as Anya’s attempts to befriend Damian Desmond. While season 3 has yet to reveal its Rotten Tomatoes score, its reception on IMDb has been impressive so far. Episode 3, titled “§§§’S MEMORIES II”, in which it reveals Agent Twilight’s past and how he became a spy, currently holds the highest rating in the entire story. Fall 2025 Was a Huge Month for Anime Fans

Spy x Family Season 3 wasn’t the only anime series to release in fall 2025. Other titles released around the same time include My Hero Academia: Final Season, One Punch Man Season 3, Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, Ranma 1/2, And On tour after the Apocalypsejust to name a few.

In addition, Chainsaw Man — The Movie: Reze Arc premiered in Western cinemas on October 24, 2025, a few weeks after its release in Japan and some Asian markets. The film received a near-perfect 95% critical score and 98% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, and has grossed over $157 million worldwide to date.

The first six episodes of Spy x Family Season 3 is available to stream on Crunchyroll and Hulu, and new episodes release Saturday.
