Having finished the signature of Martin Zubimenddi during the weekend, Arsenal is now close to concluding an agreement for their next addition. Mikel Arteta wants at least two attackers added to his team during the summer transfer window, and the first could be ready to arrive.
Last week, Arsenal established Noni Madueke as the main target of the winger. Personal conditions were agreed with the man of Chelsea during the weekend, and as such, an opening offer has been planned.
And Tuesday, he arrived.
Chelsea receives the non -idueke offer from Arsenal
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal filed his first offer for Madueke, in the region of 50 million pounds sterling. Their hope is that an agreement for the English international, which has 11 goals and four assists in 46 appearances during the 2024-25 season, can be agreed next week, after its involvement for Chelsea during the Club World Cup 2025.
Chelsea is unlikely to accept
Although there is confidence in the Arsenal that an offer can be concluded, it is not planned that Chelsea accepts this offer. Arsenal’s proposal is 50 million pounds sterling with additional modules included, while the finalists of the Club World Cup are looking for a package in addition to this.
More specifically, Chelsea wants fixed costs of 50 million pounds sterling, and they believe that it would be titled since Newcastle does this for Anthony Elaga, who should join the winners of the Carabao Cup of Nottingham Forest.
The good news for Arsenal is that their opening is not far from Chelsea’s assessment, so it seems that an agreement can be concluded in the coming weeks. And once, this allows the sports director Andrea Berta to focus fully on the realization of the signature of Viktor Gyoking of Sporting CP.
