OnePlus prosperous on trends – if other smartphones manufacturers do something, you can bet that OnePlus will have a catch. The company recently confirmed that it abandoned the alert cursor in favor of an Apple type shortcut button called the Plus key, and this is not the only trend it will pursue with its latest phones. OnePlus has also announced an extended collection of AI features for translation, photography, screenshot, etc. OnePlus does not innovate here, but it is a question of picking some of the most useful AI features that we have seen on other phones.
The OnePlus approach covers most cases of use of established AI. There will be a Voicescribe, a functionality that records and sums up calls in popular messaging and video chat applications. Likewise, AI Call Assistant will record and summarize telephone calls, much like Google Pixel phones. However, these two features are only in India for the moment.
Globally, ONEPLUS users will obtain the translation of AI, which brings together the text, the voice, the camera and the screen translation into a single application powered by AI. AI research, in the meantime, allows you to search for content on your phone and in “conversational” OnePlus system applications. This suggests that it is essentially another chatbot on your phone, such as the Motorola demand and search function, which we do not like.
OnePlus also promises an AI intelligence in the camera. The Recame will analyze what is in your viewfinder and suggest different framing options. Ai Best Face 2.0 (which will take place later this summer) will analyze and correct things like closed eyes or “sub-optimal expressions”. It looks like an ONEPLUS version of the best Google taking, but we don’t complain – this is a great functionality. The OnePlus can work with group photos of up to 20 people, and you can even feed them with photos taken on other phones to repair everyone’s face.
