“ One piece ‘renewed for season 3, Netflix drops the first look in season 2

“One Piece” makes the sail again, with the live adaptation of the series of beloved manga and anime obtaining a revival from the start of season 3 in Netflix.

The news was released from the annual celebration of a day in a song on Tokyo, where it was also revealed that Ian Stokes would join Joe Tracz as a co-showrunner of season 3. Stokes was previously a co-executive producer of season 1. The production of the third season will start later this year in Cape Town, South Africa.

Season 2 of “One Piece” has no first date, but it should return to Netflix in 2026. The streamer has also published several images of the new season, which can be seen below.

Officially entitled “One Piece: Into the Grand Line”, the official description of season 2 declares:

“The epic adventure of high seas pirate a crowd of new great enemies. »»

Iñaki Godoy plays like Luffy. The cast also includes Mackenyu like Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd like Nami, Jacob Romero as ausopp and Taz Skylar like Sanji. Additional actors are Vincent Reve, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Morgan Davies, Aidan Scott, Langley Kirkwood, Jeff Ward, Celeste Loots, Alexander Maniatis, McKinley Belcher III, Craig Fairbrass, Steven Ward and Chioma Umeala. Season 2 will present several new distribution members, including David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Katey Sagal like Dr. Kureha, Sendhil Ramamurthy like Nefertari Cobra and Joe Manganiello as M. 0.

Netflix “One Piece” has undergone a number of showrunner changes in three seasons. The show was initially developed by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda. They were co-showrunners of season 1, but Maeda resigned from season 2, Tracz becoming Co-showrunner. But then Owens also announced his departure from the series after the work of season 2.

The Netflix Show was created in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios (a partner of the ITV studios) and Netflix. Owens and Tracz are writers, executive producers and co-showrunners of season 2.. The creator “One Piece” Eiichiro also produces with Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements in Tomorrow Studios, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe and Maeda.
