One of Us: Chip Trayanum still throws Ls Down before the Bean Bowl

Just when you thought the stakes couldn’t be higher in Bush’s world-famous Boca Raton Bowl of Beans, a former Cat fans the sparks of the Governor’s Cup rivalry with the Louisville Cardinals.
On Tuesday, Toledo will face Louisville in Boca Raton. The Cards are 7.5-point favorites at BetMGM, with kickoff set for 2 p.m. on ESPN.
There’s a somewhat familiar face on the opposing sidelines for the Cards. Toledo’s star running back wore a Kentucky uniform last fall. In 2025, Trayanum Flea averaged 95 yards per game on the ground, the second-best mark in the MAC this season, while scoring 11 touchdowns on the ground and two through the air.
Before Tuesday’s game, the Boca Raton Bowl hosted a luncheon where Trayanum answered questions from reporters alongside the Louisville quarterback. Miller Moss. According to Jody Demling, once the Q&A was over, Trayanum left the stage throwing his Ls Down. One of us.
Trayanum has been outstanding this year for the Rockets, but his experience with (and against) Kentucky hasn’t gone well. The running back suffered a hand injury before the 2024 campaign. It kept him sidelined much longer than expected. By the time he took the field, the season was lost. He recorded just 19 carries as a Wildcat, including four in the blowout loss to Louisville in the final game of the regular season. Trayanum actually had a chance against his former team to open the 2025 season, but the Cats shut down the Toledo running back, limiting him to 41 rushing yards and 42 receiving yards.
The physical running back failed to throw Ls Down in a win over Louisville in 2024. He will have the opportunity to do so tomorrow at the Boca Raton Bowl.
Boca Raton Bowl Bean Appetizer
The best part of bowl season is the silliness. The Pop-Tarts Bowl sets the standard for hijinks. The Boca Raton Bowl has never been a prolific postseason game, which is why it makes sense to hit the skid with a new sponsor.
The Bush’s Boca Raton Bowl of Beans offers free admission to the first 2,000 fans who bring a can of Bush’s Beans to the game. For only about $1.50 apiece, this is the best deal of the bowling season and a great idea for getting seats to the game in South Florida between Louisville and Toledo.
