One of Roblox’s greatest experiences right now is a bizarre Italian Italian character simulator and, Lord, help me, I understand now why it’s so popular

Roblox never fails to impress me with the large number of experiences he organizes, alongside the millions of constantly active players. However, sometimes a game arrives and stops on my traces. The latest addition to this online list is to steal a Brainrot, a game inspired by the “Italian Brainrot” images generated by the AI that dominated social media a few months ago. Flying a brain is so popular that it struck more than 15 million simultaneous players a few weeks ago thanks to a competition with Grow A Garden, and is now regularly at a few million players per day.
From an external point of view, especially as a person who did not understand what “Italian Brainrot” is, I simply could not understand why this game was so popular. So, of course, the next step was to connect me and try to understand what is exactly to steal a brain and why so many people are obsessed with this.
The whole experience takes place in what is essentially a large square that welcomes eight players at the same time, and each person has their own “base”. To start, it consists in one floor and eight spaces so that you can accumulate your characters. There is also a panel at the rear that allows you to lock your base for 60 seconds. I very quickly learned that this locking button should be protected by your life. If you do not close your doors, the second where your base opens, it’s practically the game and you might as well start again.
A track where you tear off your initial brain characters from covering the entire length of the card. Everyone earns a different sum of money per second when they are in your base, but the more it does it, the more it costs first. Different ranks of characters are also at stake, as common, epic, legendary, legendary and the coveted title “Brainrot God”. Then, in addition to that, there are different variations such as diamonds, galaxy and blood. It is much to learn and seems much more intense than it is actually when you are face to face.
You start with just enough money to buy the most humble character of the games, Noobini Pizzanini, who earns $ 1 per second. If watching him walk towards your base while each other player bends all their gods of Brainrot was not embarrassing enough, the game even rubs salt in the injury, announcing noisily to everyone when a character was bought. Due to the low ranks of my character and small income, I was not at all a target for the flight. Nobody wanted to waste their time flying my low grazes when they could target each other, so I followed the next natural step: do the same and try to remove the biggest robust of Brainrot in history.
Armed to win
We give you a “Tung bat” which is a wooden baseball bat with which you can fill the players and stun them temporarily to start. If you are fast enough, it will give you enough time to run in their base when you unlock, steal a character and try to put it back in yours before catching you. If they hit you, then their brain is transported to their base and you will have to try again.
But the moment was there. The base of a player unlocked, and while everyone was fighting for his more expensive characters, I managed to sneak myself and take a lolioli burbaloni (essentially a mop -filled capybara inside a coconut) to bring back to my base. The yield of $ 200 / second was much more than my noobini Pizzanini, which was very quickly sold, and I felt like I was finally driving in cash. Of course, I was far from being as rich as the players in the ranking who had more than $ 120 billion in their name, but I felt like I could have been.
It is sure to say that it was simply the catalyst of my villa of villain to steal a brain. I had a taste for blood and none of the characters was safe. The purchase of my own characters on the central track has become a total afterwards when there were so many mature characters for the picking nestled in the basics of people. All of a sudden, my base was full and my funds reached more than a million dollars per minute. But just as I thought things could not become more intense, they did it.
An update that eliminated the years of my life
When you get a certain sum of money, alongside a specific pair of characters, you can go through the “Renaissance” process. This strips all the characters in your base, all your funds, and essentially starts you again. But in exchange, you unlock more weapons and tools to buy in the store and, depending on the level you are, a new floor for your base giving you more space for additional characters. So I entered the flight routine of characters, earning enough money to rise, then start again. Until I hit a wall to have the character I needed, but not enough money to leave.
Fortunately, it occurred the same evening as that of stealing the updates of a brain. As I was so new in the game, I absolutely didn’t know what to expect. But to be completely honest, I do not think that anyone again in the game would be fully able to expect an update implies. While I sort my base and sold the characters who did not make enough money, a white message extended on the top of my screen warning that the following “concert” would be unsuitable for anyone of epilepsy or photosensitivity to flashing lights and it was advisable to disconnect. Interesting. I should certainly have thought more about it when it appeared.
In a few seconds, the whole game became black. I could still move but I did not know where I was, until the music absolutely starts to explode my helmet and that the stroboscopic lights begin to flash on my screen. The messages continued to assert that rare characters reproduced and gave waves of the new machines to come this week, and all the other players of the server became absolutely wild on all the new brains entering the track. My base was positioned directly next to where the new characters came out, which meant that I could quickly rush, buy them and bring them back to my base. It was, of course, if other players did not spot what I was doing and did not try to buy them and bring them back to their own bases.
Fortunately for me, everyone was so distracted by what was going on towards the end of the track (and the flight of the other while the fifth rave began) that I ended up sweeping almost all the rarest characters while this event took place. Rather than listing them here, I rocked a couple in the table below. Or at least those which I remember being absolutely delighted to obtain it:
Brain character |
Rarity |
Money per second |
Carloo |
Mythical |
$ 13.5K |
Statturn Vacca Saturnita |
Secret |
$ 250,000 |
They again the palini |
Secret |
$ 425K |
Sammyi Spelly |
Secret |
$ 325K |
Sensory overload is a complete understatement. After 40 minutes of concert after a concert and I tried to bring the rarest characters back to my base, I connected before the end of the full update cycle due to the formation of headache and the evil of transport which comes from the quantity of screen that borders the permission of this party. But I pushed a winner, and after the real excitement, I felt to mark some of these characters after starting with anything other than a Pizzanini Noobini, I finally understand why so many players decide to spend their evenings to play.
That said, I have so many Brainrot gods in my name, alongside several secret characters that you can only get at events like this one, which I really afraid to reconstruct myself. I just know that the moment I load, any other player will hold me at the doors of my base ready to rush, to transform myself into a stone or throw myself on the map to steal my precious effects. So I can’t see myself going through the stress of stealing a brain again. But at least, I know that I will absolutely roll there if I crawl out of retirement.
