ONE 173: “I will emerge victorious”

Former three-time K-1 champion of Japan, Rukiya Anpo, was visibly unfazed during the final ONE 173 press conference, despite the menacing looks from his opponent, Marat Grigorian.
“Demolition Man” will make his promotional debut against the Armenian legend during the star-studded show at Ariake Arena in Tokyo this Sunday, November 16.
For Anpo, being on the world stage doesn’t bother him since he feels that’s where he truly belongs.
The 30-year-old has made headlines in the build-up to this potential featherweight kickboxing world title eliminator after diminishing Grigorian’s iconic credentials.

Additionally, he will be fighting at home in front of his passionate Japanese fans, which gives him extra motivation.
