Omos breaks on WWE, letting him go to Japan

Former RAW TAG team champion OMOS recently commented on his move to Japan while being under contract with WWE. The star has not been seen on the weekly programming of the promotion based in Stamford since last year.
After participating in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on April 5, 2024, edition of Smackdown, Omos went to Japan to fight against Pro Wrestling Noah while being under contract with WWE. The star experienced a successful outing in the Japanese struggle promotion when he won the GHC Tag Team championship alongside Jack Morris. The 33 -year -old man has not fought for any promotion since January 2025.
During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on PREVIEWOmos revealed that he had seen his WWE peers, Tavion Heights and Josh Briggs, going to Japan to fight, which intrigued him.
The WWE star added that he had seen the interview with Great Muta, in which the Japanese legend expressed his desire to face him.

“What happened is that I saw Tavion Heights of NXT and Josh Briggs go to Japan. I just watched the videos and everything. Then, as they were making shows in Japan, an interview was released with big muta, they asked him, who would you like to have in Japan? The first name he mentions is me.
Omos also mentioned that Road Dogg had given him the opportunity to fight in Japan, and he was happy that he did not refuse him.
“So I sort of throwing the idea to a few guys on Japan. I remember seeing Road Dogg on the PC,” Hey, do you have a few minutes to chat? Not really busy right now, but I would like to go to Japan. “He said,” What do you know? And then a few months later, he said to himself: “Hey, you have the opportunity to go to Japan. Omos spoke of his return from WWE
During the same interview with Chris Van Vliet, Omos said that he did not know when he returned to WWE TV, but that he was impatient to do it because he was ready for the return.
“I don’t know. I’m waiting.
It remains to be seen when OMOS return to the weekly programming of the promotion based in Stamford.
