Arsenal’s left back, Oleksandr Zinchenko, said last season was the worst in his entire career after falling into disgrace with Mikel Arteta.
The Ukrainian international initially looked like an exciting signature when he joined Manchester City in the summer of 2022, becoming an automatic starter and putting beautiful postings for the Gunners.
However, the form of Zinchenko has plunged a little into his second season and he could not return to the starting line.
This was made even more difficult for him when Riccardo Calafiori joined last summer, which was then also followed by the superb breakthrough of the first team of Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Oleksandr Zinchenko on the loss of the confidence of Mikel Arteta
Speaking in a next autobiography, as quoted by The Athletic, Zinchenko clearly indicated how unhappy he was with his rescue role at Arsenal.
“I was fundamentally out of the departure XI, he was sharing a few isolated matches,” he said.
“In Personal Pure terms, it was easily the worst season that I have never known as a professional.”
He added: “Going from one of the players established on the side to an unused submarine is much more difficult to manage. The feeling of rejection you feel if your manager no longer believes in you can withdraw from the stuffing, even if you are the most resilient guy on the planet.
“Saving on the Premier League bench for a very generous salary package is obviously a privilege, the kind of problem for which billions of people on this planet would exchange their lives much more difficult in the blink of an eye. Believe me, as a Ukrainian, I am aware of that. Every minute.
“But each footballer started playing because he likes to play the game. Much part of your life is missing without her.
“Imagine this little boy who devoted all his existence to become good in a particular thing and who then finds at 28 years old that he no longer needs, that there are others who can do the work for him. It is not a pleasant feeling.”
Zinchenko surely leaves Arsenal
Zinchenko has not yet found a new club, but there has been speculation about it.
According to Pianetamilan (via Sport Witness) at the beginning of the summer, there were interests of AC Milan and Ham West, but that did not represent anything more concrete.
However, Arsenal Charles Watts expert and journalist recently said Taken into account: “Andrea Berta will seek to find takers for players like Reiss Nelson, Sambi Lokonga, Fabio Vieira and perhaps Oleksandr Zinchenko.”
We also talked about Zinchenko to be a target for Fulham who did not lie further either, but it is surely only a matter of time before the ancient man of man was unloaded.
