Oleksandr USYK to return to 2026? Frank Warren “very” Doubts UndSusputed Champ will fight again this year | Boxing news

Oleksandr Usyk should not fight again this year, explains the promoter Frank Warren.
This means that Joseph Parker, the compulsory WBO challenger, one of the four USYK world championships holds, probably combat Fabio Wardley.
“”[Usyk] asked WBO deadlines due to an injury and he has provided evidence and it is the position for the moment, “said Warren Sky Sports.
“Will he fight before the end of the year? I doubt it a lot.”
Wardley and Parker, the holders of the temporary workers of the WBA and the WBO respectively, are in boxes at the O2 Arena in London on October 25.
“We are very close to an announcement for a big fight, plus a few others,” said Warren.
“We are talking about a few heavy goods vehicles on which we are working at the moment, I hope that we will be in a position very soon, and we will have to do it very soon because we are looking for one of them to take place in October.”
It is a sign that, rather than waiting for Usyk, Parker and Wardley are ready to risk their world rankings raised in one fight against the other.
“It says a lot about them, but it happens in this heavyweight division. The fighters are fighting, no one breaks.
“Everyone wants to see these fights and we work very hard to fight.”
After having laid down without worry Dillian Whyte, Moses Itauma is the rising star of the heavyweight division. Barely 20 years old, he is already very well assessed in the WBO and WBA ranking behind Parker and Wardley, although he should not box one or the other man afterwards.
“He will fight before the end of the year,” said Warren about Itauma. “There are great expectations towards him. I will always temperature all this because of his age and whatever.
“This young man, 13 fights and no senior access as an amateur, so he has enormously successful.
“”[Inevitably] He will fight in a very big fight and we will see what it is. “”
