Oktuberfest sheet Pan Brats – Budget bytes

Two of my biggest loves come together in this new comfortable recipe! The flavors of the Oktoberfest meet dinners with a stand for the budget in this grenlet of hearty, colorful and comforting stove of the Oktoberfest. Cooking the Bratwurst in the oven is a delicious alternative all year round with grills, and when mixing a mixture of vegetables and sweet apples, the whole pan turns into something very delicious. It is the best of the season in a dish, and I finish it with a tangy mustard sauce to attach all the flavors together. It is a sheet of leaf recipe which is festive enough for fall but quite easy to do at any time of the year (no lederhosen required !!) 😉

Easy Bratwurst pouffle with roasted vegetables
I seriously liked the meals in plates recently, and it is like a torsion inspired by Oktoberfest on my chicken mold with honey mustard. Bratwurst are fresh German sausages based on pork (or sometimes veal and beef). They roast juicy and are full of seasoning, which makes them super tasty with a minimum of effort on your part.
I roast the frogs in a saucepan with generous red potatoes, carrots, Brussels cabbage, onion and green apples, but you can use the vegetable mixture you have on hand. I would love to know how you mix this, so share your favorite vegetable combos in the comments below!
- Don’t pierce kids! Keep them entirely throughout fat and juices, so that they roast juice.
- You can’t go wrong with potatoes, so use what you like. I would take off the potatoes with thicker skin (such as sweet potatoes or rude) to make sure they cook in the specified time. The red potatoes, as I use here, have thin skins that soften well in the oven and do not require coat unless you want.
- Do you have vegetables that should be used? Go ahead and throw them in the pan. Remember that those with quick cooking such as zucchini, yellow squash or tomatoes should go halfway so as not to cook or not become pasty. Add peppers to the saucepan and serve the frogs in a grilled roll, as in our Bratwurst recipe with peppers!
- Season vegetables as you wish. I think most dried herbs, onion powder, carvi seeds or mustard powder would all be great, but keep in mind that the frogs are already filled with flavor!
- For food security, make sure that the frogs have reached an internal temperature of 160 ° F (USDA recommended).
- Cut the vegetables evenly so that they roast at the same rate: Average cubes for potatoes, dice for onion, medium slices for carrots and Brussels cabbage in two. The reduction of hard rods on Brussels cabbage also helps them to cook evenly.
- Line your pan with parchment paper for quick cleaning. This recipe for OKTOBERFest leaf stove brats is already easy, and the parchment keeps it without noise from start to finish!

** Go for Fresh sausages of bratwurst In this recipe. Either classic,, beerOr Flavored brats (For example, cheddar) will work! Smoked brats could Work in a pinch, but the cooking time for the sausages will be much shorter because they are already precuition. I only use Bratwurst Frais In this recipe and that’s what the cook’s time is based.
** You can also replace or add whole ground mustard,, spicy mustardOr ordinary mustard in the sauce.

How to take pictures of brats in leaf step by step

Gather all the ingredients: Wash and dice 4 medium red potatoes in medium cubes, dice 1 small onion, slice 2 carrots and point 2 lb. Brussels cabbage and slice them in half. Preheat your oven to 425 ° F.

Prepare the apples: Wash, peel and cut 2 Granny Smith apples in large districts. Put them aside for the moment.

Season the vegetables: Place the cut potatoes, onions, carrots and Brussels germs on a pan in leak. I like to line my sheet of parchment paper to facilitate cleaning.

Sprinkle the vegetables with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1 tsp. Salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, ½ teaspoon of garlic powder and ½ teaspoon of paprika. Now mix to coat them with your hands, then put them flat on the pan.

Add the sausages: Place 5 bratwursts on seasoned vegetables. Place the leafy mold in your preheated oven and cook for 20 minutes.

Flip Les Grenouettes: After the first 20 minutes in the oven, add the apples in the pan and throw them with the permanent vegetables. Turn the Bratwurst sausages over and turn the pan over for an additional 25 minutes.

Make the mustard sauce: Meanwhile, add ¼ cup of mayonnaise, ¼ cup of Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a small bowl.

Mix the ingredients of the sauce until they are smooth and combined.

Remove the oven leaf mold after the last 25 minutes. The vegetables must be fork and slightly caramelized trends, and the frogs must be cooked (with an internal temperature of 160 ° F) and golden.

Serve: Drizzle brats and roasted vegetables with mustard sauce (before or after veneer), and serve! Appreciate.

Suggestion service
I love the fact that this German Bratwurst recipe is an all-in-one stove dinner because it continues to cook simple, cleanse easily and the costs of the grocery store are low. If you want to add a little something extra, one side of sauerkraut or a spoonful of zucchini would go perfectly with the kids!
Storage and reheating
The remains of a leaf mold and the vegetables will last in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. You can also freeze every left left up to 2 months, although the vegetables will lose their texture when they decrease. Let everything thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating. I recommend reheating the frogs and vegetables in an oven at 350 ° F or an air fryer for 10 to 15 minutes until they are heated.
