Will Smith’s Iatse crew returns to work with Union Deal after strike

Will Smith helped resolve a labor dispute on the shooting of his clip shoot on Friday, learned Thewrap, while producers and IATSE concluded a union agreement after the dismissed workers began to prick the production that morning.

The production company based in Toronto, Breathe Entertainment, rejected the crew of 35 members Thursday after facing health and retirement services for the shooting of clip. They hired a non -unionized replacement team, which then left the set in Quixote studios in West Hollywood and joined the Iiatse picchement line on Friday.

A person who knows the agreement confirmed to Thewrap on Friday that an agreement which included health and retirement services had been signed between IATSE and Breathe Entertainment for the production of Smith’s clip. The union’s crew of 35 people returned to work that day.

Smith is supposed to make a clip for a piece of his new album, “Based on True Story”, which was released on March 28 of Slang Records. He presents collaborations with Big Sean, Russ, Joyner Lucas and the son of Smith Jaden.

The representatives of Smith and Breathe Entertainment did not respond to the request for Thewrap comments.

A spokesperson for Quixote refused to comment on the situation on Friday because they “are not involved in production, we simply rent space”, according to Deadline, who first announced the news.

Halle Berry was initially reported as part of the planned video shooting, but she is still in France and is a member of the jury at the Cannes Fest.

Smith, executive, currently produces “Cobra Kai” and “Bel-Air”. His upcoming projects include a series of the film Zombie “I Am Legend” and again with the director “Bad Boys” Michael Bay on the action film Netflix “Fast and Loose”.
