Farhan Saeed to release his first solo album “Khat” with Warner Music

Pakistani superstar Farhan Saeed will release his debut solo album this month, marking a two-decade milestone in his career. Saeed, the former lead singer of Pakistani band Jal, has built a reputation across South Asia by excelling in both TV dramas and music. He will release “Khat” via Warner Music’s global distribution network and Silent Roar.
The lead single and title track will arrive on November 14, kicking off a staggered rollout with new songs each month. The album includes 10 tracks performed in Urdu and Punjabi.
“Music has always been something I’ve experienced,” Saeed said. “I’ve been fortunate that audiences have always understood and connected with the way I express myself through my songs. This album is inspired by my fans and their constant love. It’s a letter – a khat – from my heart to theirs.”
Four tracks will receive the music video treatment, with Saeed bringing in a different filmmaker for each clip to bring varied creative perspectives to the visuals.
On the acting front, Saeed has the feature film ‘Luv Di Saun’ in the works, continuing his parallel career as an on-screen performer alongside his music career.
The album represents a new creative chapter for Saeed, building on his established fan base while positioning him for wider international reach through Warner’s distribution muscle. The project remains grounded in its linguistic roots while aiming to connect with listeners beyond regional borders.
By spacing out releases monthly rather than releasing the full album at once, Saeed’s team is banking on a sustained focus on individual tracks in an increasingly crowded music streaming landscape.
