“They kill our people and call it justice. And yet they call us thieves … So let’s be thieves with a goal.” MGM + revealed a first official trailer for their brand new Robin Hood Series, their latest interpretation of the legend of Robin Hood. The last big film we had was Ridley Scott Robin Hood In 2010, the more the very cheesy version of Taron Egerton of 2018. This new mini-series will broadcast in November in the world. A son of Saxon Forester, Rob, and the daughter of a Norman Lord, Marian, work together to fight for justice and freedom after the Norman invasion of England in the Middle Ages. Rob becomes the leader of a bunch of rebels outside the law while Marian infiltrates normal courts, while they collaborate to thwart royal corruption and bring peace to England. Lionsgate Television and co-created by executive producers John Glenn and Jonathan English (who also managed the pilot), and Todd Lieberman from Hidden Pictures, who was also an executive producer, Robin Hood stars Jack Patten As Rob, Lauren McQueen As Marian, Sean Bean As a Nottingham sheriff, Lydia Peckham Like Priscilla de Nottingham, Steven Waddington like the Count of Huntingdon, and Connie Nielsen As Queen Eleanor d’Aquitaine. This seems definitely done for TV but does not seem so bad either. Some cool photos, I hope it is as powerful and inspiring as it seems.

In 12th century England, the Saxons live under the overwhelming rule of Norman power. Among them is Robert de Locksley (with Jack Patten), the son of a forest, whose life is broken when his family is stripped of their ancestral house and his father is executed by the Sheriff of Nottingham (Co-A With Sean Bean). Gifted with the long arc, Rob grew from sorrow to rebellion, his fate forever intertwined with Marian (Co-Avec Lauren McQueen), a noble woman torn between loyalty to her family and her love. As tensions increase, Rob brings together a bunch of outlaw around him-men and women with little in common but their Saxon heritage and their desire to fight tyranny. In the Sherwood forest, they wage war on corruption and injustice, attracting the anger of the sheriff, the barons, the Norman royalty. What begins as revenge becomes something much bigger: the legend of Robin Hood, a symbol of challenge whose struggle will shape the fate of England.
