“The star of the show should always be the porridge herself. Just leave the oats!” Dogwoof revealed the official trailer for a Scottish documentary film entitled The golden spurtsLocated in the picturesque small town of Carrbridge in the Scottish Highlands. The film is planned for a UK release in September, but still has no American date. He was presented at first at the CPH Film Festival: Dox 2025 and also appeared in some other festivals. Welcome to the porridge World Cup. Each year, the village of Carrbridge Highlands wakes up with excitation as locals and competitors from around the world for the honor of winning the coveted “The Golden Spurtle” in the World Manufacturing Championships in porridge. A film on gru! Believe it or not! If you are wondering what a “spurtle” is, it is a wooden object which is the traditional kitchen utensil used to stir the porridge during its cooking. The price is a golden version of this funny wooden stick. I saw this film (via CPH: Dox) and it is actually quite entertaining, capturing all the mud and the fun that comes from an event entitled The World Porridge Championships. Even if you don’t like oat flour, always a fun watch.
Here is the official trailer of the United Kingdom for Constantine Costi’s Doc The golden spurtsdirectly from Youtube:

Did you know that you should stir in the direction of the needles of a watch when you stir your oatmeal? Otherwise, you let the devil enter your porridge. Everyone knows – at least in the village of Carrbridge in the Scottish Highlands. For 30 years, the city has welcomed the World porridge championships. This year, this is a special event because it is the last time that Charlie Miller will be in charge of the festivities. His health fails, and it is now time for the warm scotsman to transmit the splends. We are with Charlie and the World Cup competitors deeply devoted in the weeks preceding and during the championships, where an incredible cast of characters makes culinary creations from oatmeal, water and salt. The golden spurts is produced by the director / international theater filmmaker Constantine costsfilm director A delicate fire Also. Produced by Rebecca Lamond & John Archer.
