Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2 is now “in development” in Lucasfilm after the fans’ request

Kenobi Obi-Wan was originally designed as a film and would have fallen under the banner “A Star Wars Story”. The poor performance of the Solo box office has ended this possibility, and with Disney wishing to strengthen its streaming offers, it has become a six-part television series.
Despite some division ideas and characters, the show was a success and was hailed to fill the gaps between the events of Revenge of the Sith And A new hope. Lucasfilm even found a way to give fans a revenge Obi-Wan match against Darth Vader, leading to this now iconic scene where we saw what remains of Anakin Skywalker under the helmet of the Sith Lord.
With a decade to go to the disappearance of Ben on the Death Star, Star Wars Fans are optimistic about what a second season can occur, potentially exploring the rivalry of the Jedi master with Maul by widening what we have seen in Star Wars Rebels.
Unfortunately, despite the continuous enthusiasm of Ewan McGregor, we have repeatedly heard the president of Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy, there is no plans for a second season. Now, however, something could have changed.
According to Scooper Daniel Richtman (via Sffgazette.com), “A second season of Obi-Wan Kenobi is developing at Lucasfilm.” No additional details have been provided, but after Acolyte Divide opinions and Skeletal crew After many people, focusing on a well-known and beloved character seems wise.
During the Comic-Con last October, McGregor participated in a Q&R with fans and confirmed that the studio was “Explore” Ideas for more Kenobi Obi-Wan. The actor would have revealed his desire to carry the armor of Obi-Wan Wars Wars and find Hayden Christensen.
“The truth is that I talked about having to cover for having done the obi-wan season for years, I had to lie about it and I do not lie about it now”, “ McGregor had already said about the future of the show. “I don’t know. There was no phone call from Lucasfilm, or Disney saying:” Let’s do another. “Obi-Wan was made as a limited series and it was out and people like that, which I am very, very happy.”
What would be Kenobi Obi-Wan Season 2 looks like? If Lucasfilm can convince Liam Neeson to come back as Qui-Gon Jinn, it could explore how the Jedi Master was formed to become the Force Ghost who finally guided Luke Skywalker. However, this probably has only as much mileage.
Many fans will probably hope that Vader could come back, although we are betting that we are more likely that we see Christensen in flashbacks to Clone warsDepending on the story that is told. While we write this, Ahsoka Season 2 is the only confirmed Star Wars TV series in active production.
Kenobi Obi-Wan begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: revenge of the Sith Where Obi -Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat – the fall and corruption of his best friend and apprentice Jedi, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as an evil Sith Lord Dark Vador.
The series features Ewan McGregor, resuming his role emblematic Jedi Master, and also marked the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Dark Vader before later reproducing the role in Ahsoka.
