Nurse Dana, Langdon Return, new character

HBO Max published the first images of The Pitt Season two via a trailer showing some of the emergencies and characters who treat them that viewers can expect the second original Max optimization on July 4.

The preview confirms the return of Katherine Lanasa nurse, Dana Evans, showed a glance with Dr. Michael “Robby” by Noah Wyle, Robinavitch, after saying at the end of an exhausting day of the first season she left. Another besieged character, Dr. Langdon (Patrick Ball), whom Robby expelled from the emergency room of the first season after discovering that the doctor was hiding that he had consumed drugs, is also shown by returning and looking around.

The Preview also features a Quick Glimpse of New Emergency Attenting Physician Dr. Al-Hashimi, Played by Sepideh Moafi, Anxiously Watching A Procedure with Robby, and Returning Castmembers Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Mohan), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Brones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Whitaker) and Shabana Azeez (Javadi).

In addition to Moafi, it has already been announced that Charles Baker, Irene Choi, Laetitia Holland and Lucas Iverson will appear in season two in recurring roles.

The clip begins with Robby entering the emergency room, images that seem to recall the photo of the first look published when the production of season two started earlier this summer.

Another character in the office, with Dana, says: “The lavish son returns”.

After brief skills of trauma, a patient struggling with constraints in an ambulance and an off – – -hand voice announcing a “trauma of level one ETA six minutes”, Robby is shown by saying, “and therefore it starts”.

The compilation of fast clips also features police officers crossing the corridors, a baby wearing and a cut casting.

It ends with a lighter note because a nurse wonders aloud to Dr Santos if they “do this every day”.

“If we are lucky,” she says.

Although there is no specific release date for season two, which always seems to be in production, HBO Max says that it will return in January.

It has already been revealed this season two of The Pitt It would take place 10 months after the first season, during the weekend of July 4, giving Robby and the other characters of the time to face the problems which emerged from mass shooting and other incidents which took place in season one.

“When we come back, a lot of history has occurred between our characters, and we are therefore lucky to catch up, while if we had done it the next day, everyone would always be dealing with their SSPT and sorrow on this subject, so we would not have as much history to tell,” said the creator and Showrunner R. Scott Gemmill previously The Hollywood Reporter. “And it just seemed to be the best way to re -engage the public and let them play a little catch -up because they probably see new faces.”

Beyond that, Gemmill has teased the time period of July 4, “there is a vacation; a lot of things happen in the city, many unique things in the summer that bring you to the emergency room, so that we can exploit those with everything we decide to do.”

And the summer framework was also born from a practical concern, said Gemmill, because the external shooting of the series occurs in September.

Although the future of Lanasa on the show was in the air at the end of the first season, Wyle was in a joker non-commissioning and stressed its importance for the series.

“The fans’ favorite, Katherine Lanasa, is not coming back? Go now,” he said THR weekly The PittThe final of season 1 was broadcast in April. “But, yes, that happens. Who knows? Who knows?”

And he said that Robby did not want to “entertain a universe where she does not come back”.

After Robby suffered a collapse towards the end of the first season, Wyle and Gemmill have picked up that the second season will put him in search of treatment for his own trauma as well as a greater “healing trip”, as Gemmill said.

“I think the best thing that could have happened to his character was the merger, because until then he was not dealing,” said Gemmill. “If no one had seen the meltdown, he could probably go back to his own ways, which is again, denial and oar. But because becauseker Saw Him, and then ultimataly we learned that somebody else Saw Him, so that Even Langdon Knows About It, Point, Robby Knows His Secret is Out and Realizes that he has to turn to terms and deal with this and part of this second season will be about seeing Robby and what steps he’s Taking to deal with his past trauma, and the most recent, mass shooting, but part of his healing trip.

Wyle added: “So it’s really a question for season two: problem identified, season two. Whether they buy or not, what mode it would buy, what effect it would take – doctors do not make the best patients. They are really better to diagnose problems. [his mentor Dr.] Adamson [who died five years earlier during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic]But now everyone has Pitt Fest, so to a certain extent, everyone has an adamson with which they will have to face. So, how he is about to get help, how we describe a doctor who seeks or accepts treatment, how the rest of our practitioners, who have now lived this crazy experience, digest and synthesize it in their own life and career, will be at the center of season two. “”

The PittWho accumulated 13 nominations to the Emmy for his first season, is produced by Gemmill, Wyle, John Wells, Michael Hissrich, Erin Jonotow and Simran Baidwan.
