Nuno is looking for discussions with Marinakis and Edu to end the uncertainty of the Nottingham forest

Nuno Espirito Santo hopes clear talks with the owner of Nottingham Forest Evangelos Marinakis and the sports director Edu after a turbulent start to the season which aroused speculation that he could be dismissed.
Forest obtained a 1-1 draw in Crystal Palace this afternoon, two days after the reports that suggested the future of Nuno on the city’s field were threatened after questioning the club’s ambition on the transfer market.
Fans of Forest sang the name of Nuno to the Selhurst Park and the Portuguese was quick to reject a question that asked him if he was trying to ingest a way to get out of the club.
Nuno – I like what I do
Speaking after the match at Selhurst Park, he said: “Absolute nonsense. Absurd. This story is absurd. I love what I do. As I don’t appreciate it, it’s over.
“This is how football is. There are things that I cannot control. What comes out, the dismissal [rumour]I can’t control.
“What I said – and I had a lot of reflection on this subject – this is my concern for the team. Last season, these boys achieved something fantastic. If we, as a club, do not help them, in terms of figures, quality and talent, everything will be fine.
“What we have in front of us is the Premier League, the Europa League, the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup. You know how many games it means for us? It is the respect that we have to show our team and help them.”
Nuno wants discussions
The former boss of Wolves Nuno hopes to be able to sit with Marinakis and Edu this week in order to move forward.
He added: “We are going to have them [talks]. We owe, we owe.
“What I think is that we must have these conversations, and we will have them. This is what I think more important than anything. The players need it, the team needs it, the club needs it, we need it. And we are going to have it.
“Everyone wants the best for the forest – me first. The whole club wants the best for the forest.
“This is the first time that I have faced this situation and I am asked for these things. It is not useful, but I believe that the conflict does not work. We have to create harmony.”
The race and finish of Callum Hudson-Odoi saved a point for the forest after a goal from Ismaila Sarr put the team at home in front.
