Nuno calls for forest players to “take advantage” of the pressure of qualification for the Champions League on the last day
Nottingham Forest boss, Nuno Espirito Santo, called on his players to take advantage of the pressure to try to qualify for the Champions League on the last day of the season.
The Midlands team is seventh with regard to opponents of the Premier League and the possibility of overcoming its Premier League opponents and moving to fourth with a victory against its Chelsea rivals on Sunday.
The Enzo Maresca blues are one of the teams that are also competing for one of the five places in the Champions League to be won, and a victory on the road will guarantee them a place.
At worst, Forest will play in the Europa Conference League in the next quarter, but could still play in one of the three competitions.
And while the nerves inside the city of the city will be at a record level against their opponents of the capital, Nuno thinks that his players will respond well to the pressure.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, he said: “A normal week for everyone in the approach. Prepare the game as we usually do. Nothing changes.

Roma rumors were unleashed
Far from his forest tasks, Nuno was also linked to the vacant Roma post before the summer.
Claudio Ranieri showed farewell to the club for the second time, and after a stellar campaign in the Premier League, the Italian giants would have identified the former boss of Tottenham as a potential replacement.
But unsurprisingly, Nuno is only concentrated on the final on Sunday and has not lost time to reject rumors.
He said, “Do you really think I’m going to waste time on this?
“So much to think and prepare for me, my main goal is to prepare the team, get the best solutions and details for players – nothing else.”
