Drake officially cancels the dates of tour in Australia and New Zealand

Five months after Drake interrupted his visit to Australia and New Zealand, the remaining dates were officially canceled.
Originally announced in November 2024, the Drake Anita Max tour marked the rapper’s first visit to Oceania since 2017. Launched in Australia in February 2025 with multiple dates in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, the closed window tour at 16 dates was planned to wrap at the start of Marchland.
However, on February 26, it was announced that the remaining dates had been postponed due to a “planning conflict”.
A declaration of Drake’s representatives noted at the time that the musician’s team “actively worked on the re -evolution of these dates as well as the addition of additional shows”, although no other update has arrived.
Now after months without any information on the status of these unparaged programs, Ticketholders learned on Tuesday July 29 (Australia time) that the rest of the tour had been officially canceled.
“Despite the in -depth efforts to find a solution, reprogramming within the time required was not possible,” said a Live Nation Australia declaration. “Drake remains determined to return and exercise these programs when his schedule allows.”
Drake returned to stage earlier this month as part of his $ OME $ Grecial $ Hows 4 tour alongside Partynextdoor in support of their collaboration $ ome $ exy $ NGOs 4 U album.
The trek started with a series of dates in England, which will be followed by additional shows throughout Europe until the end of September. A performance scheduled in Manchester on Monday July 28 was postponed this week, with an “invisible ferry calendar” requiring the concert move to August 5.
The anterior series of Drake of the Australian dates also made the headlines thanks to the generosity of the 6 towards fans during its concerts. He had previously given $ 20,000 to a pair of fans in Perth, gave $ 45,000 to OVO faithful in Melbourne and improved a VIP pregnant fan in Sydney and blessed it with $ 30,000 before the arrival of his baby.
As part of the final shows of the tour, he also promised to take care of the treatment of cancer of the mother of a fan in Brisbane.
The Anita Max Win tour was named after a viral moment of Drake from Livestream on Kick, where he presented a new “alter ego” called Anita Max Win. The name is a playful word play on the game sentence “I need a maximum victory”, referring to the typing of maximum payment on a slot machine.
