“ Not tactical or technical ” – Ruben amorim identifies the major problem of the man utd

Ruben Amorim has identified the biggest problem of Manchester United as “the way we face competition”, admitting that attitude and mentality in the team must change.
Amorim has won 15 of his 38 games in all competitions since his name in November, the lowest victory percentage (39.5%) of any permanent boss from Frank O’farrell (37%) 53 years ago.
In the Premier League alone, he is six victories of 25 for United, who is 16th in the ranking and can only increase the 13th if the results in the last two laps of the season take place.
The Portuguese, who supervised two title victories with the former CP Sporting CP and have them on the right track for another when he left, described this record as “embarrassing” when he asked for a change this summer. However, there are no modifications in the canoe because United will not dismiss Amorim even if they fail to win the Europa League.
Amorim said that “something is wrong in the way we play football”, but not “tactically and technically”. This comes down to a culture that too easily accepts prints and losses, a concept foreign to the old generations that succeed.
“This is the way we face competition and the way we suffer and the way we get angry because we lose, and the way we protect the goal. These things that we have to improve, and sometimes it is not only inside the field, it is outside the field,” he explained.
“This feeling that I speak to fight until the end, the way we face competition. It is not normal to lose, it is not normal to draw.
“It does not matter whether we can change our position in the league or not,” added the head coach, referring to the current series of seven Premier League games without victories at a time when a competitive domestic finish has already been out of reach for a long time.
“This feeling is nothing confident. This is the belief and understanding that we are Manchester United, and we do not want to be the worst of the League. Our position is unacceptable and, for me, it is not a lack of confidence, it is the lack of something deeper.”
