Do not react excessively to these five NFL scenarios – and do not sleep on two others
Anthony Richardson missing Minicamp. Among the problems that led the Indianapolis colts to organize a quarter competition between Richardson and the former quarter of the Giants Daniel Jones is Richardson’s inability to stay on the ground. Physically, Richardson looks indestructible, but in the two seasons since Indianapolis drafted him fourth in the general classification, he missed 17 games against injuries. He walked his spouse AC right five weeks after his recruit season, which required an operation at the end of the season. In 2024, he missed six games, two of which when Richardson was put on the bench. The AC joint is the injury it has aggravated, which makes him close an indefinite period. Coach Shane Steichen was not committed to knowing if Richardson would be ready for the start of the training camp, although he said that Richardson no longer needs surgery. A shoulder injury is obviously not good for any Quarter any Time, but is it particularly problematic for Richardson, who really needs representatives because he had limited experience as a starter in college and has missed so much time since his writing. The current reverse clearly gives Jones an important advantage in a competition that he had a good chance of winning anyway. But the absence of Richardson, who highlights existing concerns about his sustainability, could have longer -term implications for his future.
