Nolan Siegel tried to participate in the race in Toronto

Nolan Siegel (6) talks with other pilots before the NTT Indycar Series farm to finish 275 on July 13, 2025, at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa. Alex Palou (10) won the race.

On Friday, Nolan Siegel will be behind the wheel of his Arrow McLaren Chevy N ° 6 for the Honda Indy Toronto, one day after receiving authorization from Indycar medical staff.

Siegel, 20, made his way in the wall during the first race of a double-head at Iowa Speedway last Saturday. He was excluded for the next day’s race due to a slight concussion.

“Iwish on Sunday’s race in Iowa was definitely difficult, especially after qualifying fifth,” said Siegel. “After a week of rest and recovery, I can’t wait to be back in the car. We have a new smartstop livery to make its debut, so I hope that we can establish a solid result and make a good one for the whole crew.”

Arrow McLaren has confirmed that Siegel will participate in this weekend race.

“Nolan was authorized by the Indycar medical team to drive this weekend in Toronto,” said Arrow McLaren. “He will pilot the No. 6 Arrow McLaren Chevy in their first main sponsorship race of the season. He is on the way to Canada now and should be the track later.”

Siegel has 156 points, which places it in 21st place in the ranking. He was six years old ahead of Louis Foster from Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, with the top 22 receiving bonus payments at the end of the season.

Linus Lundqvist will be the emergency driver in case Siegel will not run.
