Valeria Goldberg (the) is stuck in a golden cage. She is married to Leo Saltzman (Zurita), the son of influential businessman Samuel Saltzman (Bernal). When she breaks under the pressure and commits an unforgivable misstep, the Saltzmans turn on her: they plan to tear her away from her children and ruin her reputation within their wealthy, insular community. On the advice of his overbearing parents, Leo takes his and Valeria’s two young children, Tamara (Siro) and Isaac (Varela), abroad to Europe without telling Valeria where they are going.
When Valeria realizes that her children are gone, she calls on Elías, a former Mossad agent turned private detective, to help her find them. As Valeria and Elías pursue Leo and the children across the world, her despair is compounded by her in-laws’ attempts to turn their shared community against her. Will Valeria one day find her children? Or will the family she married into get away with their crimes?
