“No one forces you to fight”

Sean O’malley offered a point of view contrary to people complaining about the remuneration of UFC hunters.

Over the past eight years, O’malley has considerably changed his life by making a fortune during his UFC mandate.

The former rooster weight champion used his massive platform to produce several sources of income, which he worked after having obtained his UFC contract on the “series of competitors of Dana White”.

In a recent interview with Demetrious Johnson, O’malley struck less experienced fighters complaining of the money earned at the start of their UFC career. He said:

Sean O’malley explained why he stopped using social media before Merab Dvalishvili revenge

The title of Codeclins of Sean O’malley UFC ended due to unanimous loss of decision against Merab Dvalishvili in September 2024.

On June 7, O’malley seeked to regain the world title of 135 pounds when he faced Dvalishvili in a revenge match in the main event of the UFC 316.

The 30 -year -old has made several changes before fighting Dvalishvili a second time, notably by not using social media.

O’malley explained his decision in the above -mentioned interview with Demetrious Johnson. He said:

“I have the impression that social media is a distraction of life in general, but I think especially when you have a huge audience and you almost try to follow this. You almost get attached to Suga, who is Suga Sean, it is millions of followers. I opened that, and I just created a little.” (39:40)

O’malley added:

“I leave social networks was a bit that I was looking for more peace throughout my life, and that changed life. I really have the impression that being part of my life has changed my life better, as far as not having the impression of being so connected with the world and seeing everyone’s problems.” (39:40)
