No Man’s Sky Creator Sean Murray Teases New Light No Fire Update or Announcement

There is perhaps no more epic space exploration game than the wildly popular No Man’s Skya game that has received countless quality updates and improvements over its lifespan. In recent weeks, No Man’s Sky Developer Hello Games even released its massive Voyagers 6.0 update which completely revamped the gameplay and added a new ship class.
While the Voyager 6.0 update was more than enough for players, a cryptic message of a door emoji from creator Sean Murray (via X) was released. fans speculate about another possible update coming No Man’s Skyor even an update regarding Hello Games’ next exciting open-world project, Light without fire.
Although nothing has yet been confirmed about the meaning of this emoji by Murray or Hello Games, the cryptic message is out of the ordinary for Murray and has fans theorizing about its possible implications.
Sean Murray Teases a Possible No Man’s Sky or Light No Fire Update
Nothing is officially confirmed, but fans should keep an eye out for new developments
Most of Sean Murray’s X-stream consists of a massive amount of screenshots from No Man’s Skywho recently focused on Corvette footage taken by players after the latest Voyagers 6.0 update. In fact, Murray rarely posts things outside of pictures. unless they are relatively important, and often these type of messages are related to major Hello Games updates.
Murray’s post history is one of the main reasons why his cryptic door emoji post is raising eyebrows among No Man’s Sky community, and players quickly began theorizing about what this could possibly refer to. The main theory is that this door emoji is a reference to the famous Doors hit song “Light My Fire”, something players such as DjMonkey and others responding to the original post have pointed out.
This would of course be a reference to Sean Murray and Hello Games’ next big project, Don’t light a fire, with players hoping for a possible release window, beta announcement, or any other type of update regarding the highly anticipated open-world fantasy adventure in development.
If the message has nothing to do with Light without fireit’s possible that this is a sign that some sort of door or portal related update might be coming. No Man’s Sky in the near future. There is also the small possibility that the message means absolutely nothing, and Murray just wanted to get the players talking on the sequel, although that seems unlikely given Murray’s history of major announcements and high-profile achievements.

Players theorize about what happens next in No Man’s Sky & Light No Fire
While Sean Murray’s intentionally cryptic message didn’t give players any real answers, it did generate a flurry of interest and put players on alert for an imminent announcement, whether for No Man’s Sky Or Don’t light a fire. Murray could tease something absolutely huge, like a Light without fire launch announcement, which would be the icing on the cake for Hello Games fans this year.
There’s no doubt that No Man’s Sky fans are absolutely shaken by Murray’s message, as Phuzzy points out: “Sean is the only person capable of upsetting an entire player base, with just one Emoji.” Murray appears to be planning something big behind the scenes, and players will want to keep a watchful eye on his social media posts in the coming weeks for another official announcement for Light No Fire or No Man’s sky.
