Kozhikode: With the fear of Nipah, the resurfacing in Malappuram after the death of an 18 -year -old girl from Makkaraparamba, the government authorities applied confinement areas in 20 districts spread over Makkaraparamba, Kotilaulagadi, Kuruva and Mankada Grama Panchayats.The district collector of Malappuram VR Vinod said that the restrictions on the confinement zone would be imposed in the 1-13 districts of Makkaraparamba Panchayat, the 11 and 15 districts of Kootilangadi Panchayat, the district 14 of Mankada Panchayat and the districts 2, 3, 5 and 6 of Kuruva Panchayat.Residents of containment areas were invited to avoid rallies. Stores and commercial establishments, with the exception of medical stores, should only operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. All teaching establishments in containment areas must remain closed.As part of the general borders of the district, people were invited to avoid social gatherings as much as possible and to wear masks for the face while venturing and during gatherings.Published route card:The Department of Health has published the 18 -year -old girl’s itinerary card, who died at Meitha in Kozhikode hospital on July 1, with horodatages on her locations and trips since June 23 when she has developed fever and other symptoms.According to the itinerary map, the girl developed fever and headache on June 23 and stayed in her house taking self-medication on June 24.On June 25, she went to the Makkaraparamba Mini Clinic with her mother in an Autorickshaw at 12 noon and returned home within half an hour.On June 26, she returned to the Makkaraparamba Mini Clinic in an Autorickhaw at 9 a.m. and went to the Malappuram cooperative hospital in an Autorickshaw, then to the Kottakkal Mims hospital in a private vehicle where she was admitted to the ICCU in the afternoon. She was transferred to Miche on June 27.On June 28, the patient was shifted in a mobile ambulance in the USI at Meitra hospital, Kozhikode, where she died on July 1. His funeral took place in Makkaraparamba Juma Masjid on July 2.The health service asked those present at the locations during the specified hours to contact the telephone assistance numbers (0483 2735010, 0483 2735020).Meanwhile, Kozhikode DMO KK Rajaram said that the patient had had no public contact in Kozhikode.
