Nintendo Direct announced for tomorrow focusing on Kirby Air Riders

Surprise! A brand new Nintendo Direct focused on Kirby Air Riders will land tomorrow, Tuesday August 19 at 6 a.m., 9 a.m. from the East or 2 p.m.
Again, Nintendo revealed the program first via its application for smartphone Nintendo Today, and promised that the broadcast would have 45 minutes of information on the next Switch 2 game.
Kirby Air Riders is remarkable for being the first new project for years of Masahiro Sakurai, the famous director of the Smash Smash Smash Bros. series. from Nintendo. The deep diving look tomorrow on the game is also intriguing, suggesting that it could finally be playable during the Gamescom event this week in Cologne.
To date, Nintendo has kept the details of Kirby Air Riders near his chest, but said that the Rose-Staring runner should be launched on Switch 2 later this year. It seems likely that the direct’s lives will provide a firmer liberation window.
Announced earlier this year alongside more details on the Switch 2 itself, Kirby Air Riders will be a sequel to the classic cult 2003 Kirby Air Ride for Gamecube. The production on the game started seriously in 2023, after the end of Sakurai time supervising the long calendar of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
There is no suggestion that the show of tomorrow will understand any other switch 2 games beyond Kirby Air Riders (sorry, Metroid fans). However, more information on the next stage of Sakurai and its talented development team should be enough.
