Witches are officially back!
To celebrate their first day on the set of Practical magic The rest, Nicole Kidman, shared a sincere video on Instagram of herself and Sandra Bullock Touring for the film.
“The witches are back. First day of the sisters of Owens on the set! #Practicalmagic ”, the Babygirl Star wrote in the legend of the post, while The lost city We can hear the actress saying: “It turns out that we have a lot of work to do.”
Kidman and Bullock first played the role of Sally and Gillian Owens, two sisters witches who are in the grip of a family curse who kills the men with whom they fall in love, in the 1998 film led by Griffin Dunne. Magic Practical 2 will be led by Susanne Bier, with whom Bullock worked on Bird and Kidman on The perfect couple.
To work with Bier on Magic Practical 2Kidman said it was like “the perfect triangle” for the trio to work together on the film, due to the director’s past work with the two actresses. She explained: “Sandy also worked with her, so we were both like, well, it is the perfect triangle because we all know each other so well and therefore to be able to work together on something fun and sorcerer.”
Dianne Wiest and Stégard Channing are ready to take over their roles as an aunt Owens (who raise the sisters after their parents’ passage) in the follow -up. The new additions to the actors include Joey King, Lee Pace, Maisie Williams, Xolo Mariduña and Solly McLeod.
Evan Rachel Wood, who played the daughter of the character of Bullock in the first film, revealed that she had not been invited to come back for Magic Practical 2. “It offered my services, even if it was a scene or a line. I was told that they were recondying. I am sorry to disappoint the fans. It was not under my control or my choice. I would have fortunately joined my sisters,” she wrote on her Instagram stories in July.
Akiva Goldman, co-scriptwriter of the 1998 film, co-wrote the following script alongside Georgia Pritchett. Bullock and Kidman also serve producers with Denise Di Novi (who also worked on the original Practical magic).
