Destiny’s Child meets for Medley on the last evening of Beyoncé’s tour

Beyoncé did not leave her tour of “Cowboy Carter” browse the sunset without allowing Destiny’s Child to roll again too. The crowd of the closing show of the tour in Las Vegas broke out when Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland went on stage alongside Beyoncé near the end of the night for a mixture that included some of the greatest successes of the group of beloved girls.

The trio had not gathered from a similar group cameo when Beyoncé titled Coachella in 2018 (illustrated above). The members of Destiny’s Child separated after a successful race which ended with a last tour in 2005, and they only met for a handful of rapid meetings in the past 20 years.

Their joint appearance on Saturday evening came to around 40 numbers in the show, when fans shocked in Trio by going out in unison to interpret the 2004 piece “Lose My Breath”. They then stayed for the “Renaissance” number of Beyoncé “Energy” – in particular, by nailing the “Mute Challenge” of the song and bringing a special life to the line “Just Me and My Crew – Big Energy!” The conclusion of the four-minute camée, perhaps inevitably, was a resurrection joyfully received from their Smash Signature “Bootylicious”.

The headliner did not offer a great preface to the group’s reappearance, with its fanfare equivalent to: “Destiny’s Child, Bitch”.

Rowland was clearly having fun during the “silent challenge”, putting his finger on his lips in a shhh gesture and moving the words, “shut up”.

Bey Buffs had reasons to imagine that the group could make an appearance at some point in the tour, given how friendly they have remained over the years, although it took patience before fate was filled during the 32nd and last concert of the “Cowboy Carter and Rodeo Chitlin ‘stadium”, which started at the end of April.

Although it was not a public appearance, in January, they met for a group interpretation of “Happy Birthday” during the 50th anniversary party for the husband of Rowland, the director of talent Tim Weatherspoon. And even if it did not imply performance, the five original members met for the premiere of the “Renaissance” concert film, followed by Beyoncé and Rowland for the opening evening of Williams on Broadway in “Death Bedis Her”.

All the fans who had the faith that Beyoncé would remove something special for the end of the tour of the tour also rewarded their faith when Shaboozey was released on stage to recreate their duo “Cowboy Carter” by “Sweet Honey Buckin”. “Not by coincidence, probably, Shaboozey wore American flag pants which invoked a Destiny’s Child look once shaken on stage. He had already played with her during his show of half-time of the NFL on Christmas day last year, but not so far during this tour.

Her husband, Jay-Z, also joined her for the final of the tour, although he did it on certain previous dates, so his vegas cameo was not quite rare. He went out on stage for “Crazy in Love” and his own 2011 “N—-S in Paris” tube.
