NFC South Division Desings after week 3
Carolina Panthers
Last match: 30-0 victories against the Falcons of Atlanta (1-2)
Outside offensive competition: RB Chubbard chubbard
Falcons were solid against the opposite runners this season, but Hubbard was effective for Carolina’s attack on Sunday and picked up 73 yards in 17 races, including 40 yards after contact. It was also important in protecting passes for Bryce Young.
Defensive start: CB Chau Smith-Wade
The Smith-Wade Pick-Six in the third quarter was the real turning point in Sunday’s victory for the Panthers. Comrade Jaycee Horn was the best player in the cover, but Smith-Wade made the biggest game.
Need for improvement: Third downward offense
Despite the unbalanced score, the Caroline offensive has largely had trouble maintaining training in third position. Panthers have only converted three of their eleven third advance possibilities. They have kept their readers twice in fourth times, but it is something that Carolina will have to understand.
Say quote: “When you have a chance to score at each phase, you give yourself a great chance to win. I thought the defense had played an incredible game. The racing game plan, execution, communication, all that we have really succeeded, is where we must continue to grow. “- Panthers head coach, Dave Canales,
Following: Sunday, 1 p.m. he at the New England Patriots (1-2)
