Newcastle transfer problems explained by Fabrizio Romano

Fabrizio Romano explained why Newcastle United has a problem in the transfer window this summer despite their high performance in recent years.
Eddie Howe is widely considered to have done a superb job in St James’ Park, bringing high -level players and making the club much more competitive.
Newcastle is back in the Champions League next season, which makes it twice as much as they qualified in the last three seasons, when they also won the Carabao Cup final last season, ending a trophy drought of several decades.
However, Romano feels that they have a problem at this stage of their development, because they are still considered by many as something of a “springboard” club.
However, they have not really made as many important sales so far, which means that players could be pushed back into a situation like that of Alexander Isak.
Fabrizio Romano on the transfer number of Newcastle United
“I think there is a crucial point here. We always see Newcastle signing many players, bringing the best players to the club, but it is difficult to see players sold in Newcastle,” Romano told Men in Blazers.
“And sometimes some players who are younger and who may want to develop in a different way, perhaps they are afraid of going to Newcastle and not having the opportunity to leave the club in perhaps two or three years.
“So I think that Alexander Isak can also be an opportunity for Newcastle to show that, yes, sometimes you must also sell your players. You can’t always keep them all.
“So, I think that is one of the points. Sometimes players are afraid of going there because they may have to stay there for five years. And some of them in modern football want to leave after two or three years is part of the game.”
Could Newcastle benefit from the sale of Alexander Isak?
Romano mentions Isak, who wants to join Liverpool, according to his article on X below…
?? Alexander Isak expects Liverpool, his only clear choice despite information on Al Hilal and more clubs.
Personal terms will never be a problem, because the choice was made weeks ago.

Could it really be that Newcastle could convince more players to join if they let Isak go to Liverpool?
It would be clearly a dream decision for the Swedish international, which will feel more than made its part to help advance this project.
Isak surely won the possibility of accepting this great blow and leaving Nufc with huge sums of money to spend to replace it?
