Newark Airport Passenger May Have Exposed Others to Measles, New Jersey Department of Health Says

NEWARK, New Jersey (WABC) — A passenger at Newark Airport may have exposed people to measles.
The New Jersey Department of Health said a person with the illness passed through the airport on Friday, December 19.
The person was in terminals B and C between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The Department of Health hopes to track down people who may have been exposed. He also suggests that anyone who is not vaccinated get the MMR vaccine.
Symptoms of measles include high fever, cough, runny nose, red, watery eyes, and a rash that usually appears three to five days after symptoms start. The rash usually begins as flat red spots that appear on the face at the hairline and spread to the neck, torso, arms, legs, and feet.
